The K-9 Unit consists of two narcotics detection canines and one explosives detection canine. This unit provides services to the Patrol Unit, Narcotics Unit and other law enforcement agencies. The explosives detection canine has assisted law enforcement agencies throughout the United States, including the 2001 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah.
