2007 Law Enforcement Officer of the Year - Deputy Shelby O’Connor was nominated for the Alabama Retail Association’s 2007 Law Enforcement Officer of the Year by Captain Stan Chapman. Deputy O’Connor was honored on November 15, 2007 with other nominees from within the state at a luncheon in Montgomery, Alabama. Deputy O’Connor, an investigator with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, was recognized for an identity theft investigation that involved 25 victims and over $150,000. Keep up the good work Shelby, we are proud of you.
